My name is Grace McEvoy. I’m a creative producer, curator, and visual artist working across nearly two decades of the arts, moving fluidly between grassroots creation, curatorial practice, and the direction of large-scale cultural moments.
Based in Dublin, Ireland
I graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2010 and went on to co-found BLOCK T—now Flux Dublin—which was one of Ireland’s largest independent art spaces, where collaboration and experimentation shaped the foundations of my practice. My work has since expanded through curatorial and artistic projects, including a Sky Arts Scholarship shortlisting, and nearly ten years of growing and directing the Culture Date with Dublin 8 initiative.
Culture Date with Dublin 8 is a neighbourhood initiative that connects people with the rich heritage, creativity and community life of Dublin 8 through an annual festival and year-round programming. Since 2017, it has grown into a collaborative network of over 100 partners, delivering hundreds of free and low-cost events that celebrate the area’s history, culture and contemporary creativity in imaginative and accessible ways.
BLOCK T was an artist-led social enterprise and independent art space that supported creative practitioners, organisations, and businesses through workspace, cultural programming, and collaborative initiatives rooted in artistic exchange. It is now operating as Flux Dublin.
Independent & Visual Arts Practice
My artwork focuses on symbolic imagery and spiritual themes, drawing on psychology, myth, and ancient visual languages. Through painting, I create contemplative images that explore inner experience, intuition, and the quiet spaces where meaning begins to take shape.
